MEDICAL SCIENCES, MANAGED MARKETS - Associate Director For a major biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of anti-infective, cardiopulmonary and respiratory therapeutics. LOCATION: Field-based (Territory – Midwest (IL., MN.) COMPENSATION: 150K range + bonus + stock. Responsible for providing scientific support for products and disease states in key regional and national managed market accounts (Health Plans, IPAs, PBMs and Speciality Pharmacies). Establishes and maintains professional relationships with key healthcare decision makers within assigned accounts in the Midwest. Identifies investigators and facilitates the development of study proposals and/or placement of company sponsored trials, including phase III/IV, outcomes research, pharmaco-economic and database registry studies. REQUIREMENTS: Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, DO or MD) 3+ years related experience in the pharma industry to include managed care/PBM/Speciality Pharmacy. Thorough knowledge of managed markets, pharmacoeconomics and disease management.
