SAFETY & PUBLIC HEALTH - Associate Director
For a worldwide biopharmaceutical company. LOCATION: The SF, CA area. COMPENSATION: 140k range + bonus + stock options. Responsible for safety evaluation, including signal detection, management of potential safety issues, labeling documentation, Periodic Safety Update Reports, risk management plans and responses to regulatory agency safety inquiries. Manages a team of drug safety scientists. REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in a suitable discipline (MS/PhD preferred) 5+ years of drug safety evaluation experience. An in depth understanding of pharmacovigliance practices and drug safety regulations. The ability to drive strategic planning and to develop and update SOPs and participate in drug safety audits.
